Upper Endoscopy

The endoscopy is the exploration of the interior of
the digestive system with the use of a flexible optical
tube, called and endoscope.

The endoscopy of the upper digestive system serves
to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach and
the first portion of the small intestine.

Preparation
