It is the inflammation with necrosis (dead tissue) of the mucosa, submucosa and muscle (Harm deeper than in gastritis). It can occur is Stomach and Small intestine
 
The complications of peptic ulcer disease are:

A) Hemorrhage (bleeding in the digestive tract through the mouth or rectum)
B) Drilling
C) Penetration
D) Obstruction

 

Colitis or irritable bowel syndrome.

Defined as a functional disorder (without an organic cause, anatomical and metabolic explaining its origin), characterized by abdominal pain or discomfort and changes in bowel habits (Diarrhea - Constipation -stool normal).
